Star-COLIBRI project: biorefinery clustering

Our European Expert Forum Conference on Biorefineries took place on the 12th and 13th of April 2011 in Budapest, in the framework of the Hungarian Presidency of the European Union. The event succesfully brought together 110 industry and research delegates from across Europe, as well as policymakers from the European Commission and representatives from the Hungarian government. The programme gathered top-level speakers from industry, research and policy, thus providing different perspectives on biorefineries, namely by highlighting different parts of the value-chain and the importance of biorefinery development for a broad range of sectors.
